Models
What you can run
Section titled “What you can run”layer base-models listlayer base-models list --modality videolayer base-models list --featured # only the recommended onesThe catalogue is read from your workspace rather than shipped with the package, so a model added, hidden, or deprecated for your team shows up without a CLI upgrade. It is cached per deployment for a day; --refresh on a generate command ignores the cache.
What a model accepts
Section titled “What a model accepts”layer base-models show bfl-flux-2-proPrints the model’s parameters — names, types, defaults, and allowed values — read from the same inference schema the app renders its form from. These are the keys --param takes:
layer generate image --base-model bfl-flux-2-pro --param transparency=true -p "..."A key that model does not declare fails before the request is sent, so a typo costs nothing.
For per-model reference pages with the full request body and code samples, see the Models section.
Machine-readable output
Section titled “Machine-readable output”layer --json base-models list | jq -r '.base_models[].base_model_id'--json puts the catalogue on stdout and nothing else — see scripting.
