Do I need a big following to apply?+
Not for Rising Star: there's no follower minimum, just a strong portfolio. Headliner (2K+ engaged followers) and Icon (10K+) are for creators with an established audience, and come with more Creative Units.
Which tier should I apply for?+
Pick the one that matches your largest engaged audience on any single platform. If we think another tier suits you better, we'll tell you when we review. You won't be rejected for choosing the "wrong" one.
Can I move up a tier?+
Yes. We review tiers every quarter based on your audience growth and the quality of what you've shared. Creators move up regularly.
Is there a cash component?+
Rising Star and Headliner are rewarded in Creative Units. Icons can also earn cash payouts for standout content and co-marketing campaigns, agreed case by case.
How often do I need to post?+
There's no quota. Post when you've made something worth sharing. Your monthly Creative Units keep coming as long as your approved posts do.
How do I get into Talent Network or Founder Track?+
You don't apply to those separately. They're something Layer invites you into as your work and skills develop. Keep sharing great work, and it's on our radar.
What if I'm not selected?+
You're welcome to reapply later with an updated portfolio. It has no effect on your regular Layer account.
